As a landlord, it is your duty to make sure that you have a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) on all your gas appliances every year. This ensures that your tenants are safe from any gas leakages that may occur and the gas appliances are safe to use.

And last but not least it will include the landlord’s name and address and any problems the landlord came across and what needs to be addressed before they can give you a gas safety certificate (CP12).
